Hirsh Precision Completes Facility Relocation, Opens New Headquarters in Frederick, CO
Frederick, CO – Hirsh Precision Products, a precision manufacturer for the aerospace, medical device, and scientific sectors, today announced the completion of their facility relocation from Boulder to Frederick, Colorado. This 65,000-square-foot facility will serve as the company’s new headquarters and prepare them for its next phase of growth.
Hirsh Precision has completed significant renovations of its new headquarters’ production floor and office space since first announcing its relocation in 2022. The facility boasts a prime location just north of Denver along the I-25 corridor, where the company has also invested in more machining technology and automation, as well as a dedicated training and development area for upskilling its employees.
“Our new facility is a game-changer for our customers because we now have space to increase production capacity, meaning shorter lead times and the ability to meet growing demand. For the first time in years, our team has room to employ higher levels of automation, which will help keep manufacturing costs down. The expanded facility opens up possibilities for collaborative interaction with our customers where we can co-create solutions that address their needs,” said Steve Hirsh, company founder and Director of Engineering.
With a 60,000-square-foot production floor – three times larger than its previous location – Hirsh Precision has the capacity to expand its 3-track manufacturing solution. This includes avenues for rapid prototyping, new part introduction, and full-scale automated production. The new facility is also equipped to accommodate its vertically integrated, post-machining processes such as finishing, assembly, and smart order fulfillment, resulting in improved lead times and just-in-time shipments.
