PSU for CNC Machining
PSU is a high-temperature, amber-colored, semi-transparent plastic with excellent mechanical properties. Polysulfone withstands degradation from hot water and steam, making it ideal for applications that require frequent sterilization.
Please note
The information contained herein are typical values intended for reference and comparison purposes only. They should NOT be used as a basis for design specifications or quality control.
Design Tip
To minimize costs, reduce the number of part setups, inspection dimensions, or strict tolerances, and avoid deep pockets with small radii.
Polycarbonate
Polysulfone, often referred to as PSU, is a high temperature, amber colored, semi-transparent plastic material with good mechanical properties. It's resistant to degradation from hot water and steam and it is commonly used in applications where repeated sterilization is required, such as the medical industry.
PSU can be used as an alternative to polycarbonate or acrylic for applications requiring high temperature performance or exposure to hot water and steam.
