The information contained herein are typical values intended for reference and comparison purposes only. They should NOT be used as a basis for design specifications or quality control.
Design Tip
To reduce costs, minimize the number of part setups, inspection dimensions, or strict tolerances, and avoid deep pockets with small radii.
PCTFE
PCTFE (polychlorotrifluoroethylene), often known by well-known brand names such as Kel-F® or Neoflon®, is a fluoropolymer material noted for its exceptional strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability.
PCTFE exhibits superior chemical resistance, radiation resistance, and flammability properties. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -400°F to 380°F. PCTFE is resistant to cold flow and possesses the lowest coefficient of thermal expansion among unfilled fluoropolymers. These features make it an ideal option when dimensional stability is crucial.
