Design Tip
To reduce costs on your acetal parts, minimize the number of part setups, inspection dimensions, or strict tolerances, and avoid deep pockets with small radii.
Acetal
Acetal, often known by the popular brand name Delrin, is a plastic characterized by low friction and high stiffness. Delrin boasts outstanding dimensional precision, making it perfect for applications where accuracy is essential. It also possesses relatively high toughness, providing resistance to impact and wear.
Delrin’s minimal elongation allows it to retain its shape under stress without significant deformation. Delrin is widely utilized across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and consumer goods.
